Description

Chatbots and Intelligent Assistants are becoming evermore ubiquitous, as natural language human-machine interfaces and are supporting a range of tasks – from information requests to commercial transactions. Although more challenging, there is growing interest in systems which can also interact in a social fashion, building a relationship with a user over time through natural seeming talk, while embedding practical tasks within this matrix of conversation. The project will investigate and implement techniques and technologies which will allow systems to seamlessly transition between topics (and the underlying domains), passing control of dialog between federated dialog managers, each trained on different domains.
